Thomas Melito

Thomas Melito has over twenty years of private/public sector management, business development and marketing experience. He provides management consulting services for local governments, business associations, and corporations.

As Deputy Supervisor in the Town of Babylon in the 1990’s, Mr. Melito managed a $65 million operation. He re-engineered several major departments, worked to reduce operating costs, helped restructure the Towns finances and developed several public-private partnerships. 

Prior to his public sector experience, he spent several years in private sector management at Paine Webber where he was responsible for all corporate systems communications, analysis, planning, project management and reporting responsibilities. Later, as a management consultant for financial service firms, he managed several large-scale projects performing due diligence investigations in the finance, operations and systems areas. Representative clients included: Merrill Lynch, New York Stock Exchange, Chubb Insurance and Mutual of New York. Other private sector clients include, Reichhold Chemicals, RRT Design and Construction, and Energy and Environmental Analysts.

Mr. Melito holds an MBA in Finance from New York University and a BA in Economics from the State University of New York.
