Steven P. Levine

Steven P. Levine is an energy services professional and attorney specializing in private power generation, energy technology development and application, and energy services and management. He is also experienced in the development and financing of domestic and international energy projects. Mr. Levine has advised developers, utilities, investors and vendors with respect to the development and financing of privately developed, financed and operated energy generation and management projects. In his capacity as a senior executive in the energy industry, Mr. Levine has been responsible for the development and financing of several large and small scale power generation, industrial process and equipment, energy management, and environmental remediation projects.

As President of the power development subsidiary of the Besicorp Group, Inc. in the late 1980’s, Mr. Levine managed the development of several gas-fired cogeneration projects with capacities with a total installed capacity in excess of 500 MW. From 1998-2000, Mr. Levine was a vice president and corporate officer responsible for developing and implementing national energy services and products for AES/New Energy. As President of Metro Energy, LLC, Mr. Levine has been primarily responsible for the development, financing and management of this full service on-site energy services company and private utility located at the Brooklyn Renaissance Plaza. Earlier in his career, Mr. Levine practiced corporate law with a focus on technology and energy matters.

Mr. Levine has a BA from the State University of New York, and a JD from the New England School of Law.
