F. Carlene Bryant

F. Carlene Bryant, Vice President of Entek, specializes in the social impacts of energy. She has researched the social impacts of surface mining in Appalachia, the politics of nuclear power, the application of decision theories and methods to Nuclear Regulatory Commission procedures, and the regional institutional barriers to the implementation of energy conservation measures. Ms. Bryant has also examined tax issues associated with privately owned cogeneration systems. 

She is the author of a book on social organization in Appalachia.

Ms. Bryant holds an A.B. degree from the University of Chicago and a Ph.D. in anthropology from Cornell University
