Hydrogen Economy -- A Skeptical View
A review of the role hydrogen could play as an energy carrier in a future energy system. This paper focuses on the comparative advantages and disadvantages of hydrogen and electricity as general purpose energy carriers. In addition, it examines issues associated with the use of hydrogen in two applications: for vehicular use and as storage in association with intermittent energy resources.
